Notice the bracelet Tracy - she is such a good baby so far, eats and sleeps. It's just mom that needs more sleep!

Vince's Birthday

Well, look ye here - Vince is 5 today - here we went to the hospital and mom gave him one of his presents - a brand new lunch kit. Vince is going to kindergarten 3 days a week, he is so proud of it.

We moved into Eric and Mary's house on Thursday since James and Leanne were coming home on Friday (cleaned up the house as well) and here it is Friday morning, and pap is reading Vince the card he got from us along with a brand new bible and cover. He was so thrilled that he has his own bible and psalm book.

Proud Oma - this is grandchild #24 - we have indeed been GREATLY blessed!!!!!!!!! Praise be to God!

Opa's Big Helper

Kelita, Skye, Nicki and Vince had to carry all the bricks up to where Pap and Ben were working, it was alot of hard work, but they did it! Ezra was Opa's big helper, digging in the cement whenever he had a chance and touching everything that he shouldn't.

He got soooo dirty, covered with cement, that pap hosed him down with the sprinkler. He didn't mind a bit!

New Job At Eric & Mary's

Pap just needs to keep busy - otherwise we get toooo fat! They are putting a wall up here at the back of the yard, between the yard and the shop. Ben is finished at Jan Bron so he is helping as well.

Pull that line tight Ben, so we do it straight!

The wall is going up right infront of the shop. That way, when the children play in the backyard, they can't fall off the back.

Skye's 9th Birthday

Skye had waited for this day for a long time - and the sad part was that it was over before she knew it. Here she proudly blows out the candles!

Nine years old!!!!!! Can't believe how fast time goes! We are so thankful to our Heavenly Father, that He has been her guide and promises to remain Her guide!

Swimming in Henry & Dianne's pool later in the afternoon - it was so very hot and humid - so the pool was a wonderful relief!

Renovating Again!!!

Mary and Eric decided to put some rock in their house (give Pap some work) so it kept Pap and Betty busy for a couple of days. It was quite a mess - but it paid of in the end. They finished the rock today, but I forgot to take a picture - will do that tomorrow on Skye's birthday. It was tough for the kids too - because they had to stay "Weg, weg, weg!!!!" I think they'll be able to understand "plat" by the time we leave.

Eric & Mary's New Look

This is the door to Eric & Mary's new bedroom - she bought a chinese Jasmine climber and we put an old ladder against the wall for it to grow on!

These are the rattan chairs we bought at Ikea on our ladies day out and tied to the top of Betty's car to take them home. The basket we bought at Vinnie's for $4.99 - what a buy. So, here is where they can sit in the evening together, or if they can't sleep. Looks so cute!

All the renovation stuff cleaned up, trimmed the trees and here Eric is oiling the posts! Got lots of work done!

Back In Byford!!!!!

Eric and Mary took us out for supper at a South African Rib Restaurant in Mandura for an evening!!

The ribs were delicious - and the kids were free (b/c it was Tuesday) so that sure was a bonus!

Here Mary is digging in the drain of their ensuite shower - because one of the little kiddies had thrown their I-pod in the drain. We had looked for it for quite a while and had no clue where it had gone. All of a sudden Mary got a brain wave - should maybe check the drain! Sure enough. It was lost on the day that we moved Eric and Mary into their new bedroom! First of all, Skye put her skinny arm down the drain but just couldn't reach it, then we put sticky tack on the end of a stick, but it wouldn't stick to it, so then we put duct tape around the stick and sure enough, Mary was the HERO!

I was taking a picture of part of the living room looking into the kitchen - and Angelina tried soooo hard to be on the picture too. Just too cute!

The chair infront of the beautiful cabinet shouldn't be there - Angelina was trying to reach the TV remotes so she could watch Dora!!

This is what we did in the front entrance - since we bought 2 cute bedside tables at a Vinnie's, we could use this little cupboard in the entrance - looks so cute!

Henri and Dwayne's House

This is Henri and Dwayne's house with the new rock wall for the flower bed that pap did and the flowers are planted. Next time we go, pap is going to put rock on the house - so then it'll look different again. Anyway - just had to show it off!

Deciding what to do - when Dwayne put the cement mixer on - Angelina ran into the house to get her dad's ear muffs.
