Fireplace and Still Winter

Here I am still working late at night to get the work finished - I'm so proud of my man - quite the mason!
We still have to do the hearth, but at least this is finished - not long now!

On Thursday, we had snow - what a brilliant sight - and it was melting at the same time, creating gorgeous icicles!  Lord, your creation is awesome!
Spring is here!!!!!
No biking yet!!!

Spending Time in Coaldale with the new baby and family!

Isaiah - what a boy, can you tell in his eyes - everything was no - his favorite word at this time - of course he had to get used to so many events at one time - new baby brother, opa and oma there for a visit (and who are they?).........etc, etc.  Here he was enjoying a slick of the beaters - guess what we made!  He loved it in any case!

I flew into Lethbridge on Tuesday morning, had a quick lunch and drove to Calgary to pick Freek up, who was returning from his visit to Holland - kindof jetlaggy here?

The beautiful new baby Jesse Gerry - isn't he adorable, or am I biased.  We have indeed been abundantly blessed - 2 new beautiful, healthy grandchildren in one month.  Our Lord is Great!

Home Again!

Karen, Ebbs and I arrived home safely on Friday, March 9th at 6:00 in the evening - so very thankful for our Heavenly Father's guidance.  Gerry and the kiddies were there to pick us up....what a cute homecoming, so much excitement.  But one man was missing in my homecoming...was somewhat sad about that one.  Pretty quiet in the house hon, without you.  So proud of the work you did while I was gone, the top of the fireplace is finished and looks amazing.

Once Fred comes home again from Holland D.V. we will finish the hearth and the bottom of the fireplace, so more excitement to come!!!!!!!!

A Few More Beach Ones in Aussie

Bella loved the water, Ezzie wasn't so crazy about it at first, but once we were there for awhile, he became braver and braver.  The beach and water were gorgeous and it wasn't busy and it was hot.........what a great combination!
Ebby enjoying the sand (which was hot).....too bad she won't remember this......it was a wonderful time

Little Taylor's first day at the beach, looks like she loved it?

How sweet is this - who said teenage boys don't love babies?

Mary, Karen (+Ebony), Leanne and Dianne all came out for the weekend and to witness the baptism of Taylor.  Was so thankful that we could all be there for that very special occasion.  Here we went out for supper with the girls - had lots of fun!!!!!  Thanks so much for that - was very special.
Here is the beauty who took the first picture and therefore is missing - but we got her anyway - isn't she gorgeous?
And here is our splendid dancing beauty from Albany!

Australia Pictures

Karen and Ebony and I went to Australia for 3-1/2 weeks:  I first went to Henrietta and Dwayne's in Albany to see the newest grandchild - Taylor and Angelina and Tess.  Here they are showing off their newest aquirements - couldn't believe how much they grew up in a year - aren't they beautiful girls?

Thankful to our Heavenly Father, who gave this wonderful gift to Dwayne and Henrietta!  "Here am I, and the children the Lord has given me.  We are signs and symbols in Israel from the Lord." Isaiah 8:18
Our precious one having a bath and loving it!
Mom and Dad TenHaaf on a little excursion while Oma was there!!!!
