Gerry & Karen's house

Well, don't they look like they're working hard. Pap and Grant posing for a photo, have to have some fun! Grant is working there today cutting the tin for the roof and bringing it up with the genielift. Since we have been blessed with such wonderful weather, the more helping hands the better.
Kyle Dejong is also working today - here Ben and Kyle are installing plywood in the playroom, Kyle is also cutting out one of the windows. The playroom and the bedroom walls are all going to be stucco, so that goes quite fast.

This is a view of the south side of the addition. The two large windows show into the playroom, if you look closely, you can see that the ceiling is already finished, stained and varnished. The dark lines on the ceiling are the beams.
Here Grant is preparing to cut some tin. The two triangle windows above are showing into Gerry & Karen's new bedroom - they will be sleeping pretty high and will have a tremendous view of the creek and forest.

Here are the two managers, Pap and Darryl - making sure everyone else is keeping busy. Actually, they were having a discussion about what to do in regards to the taking the tin off the original house - that is quite a job too - they only have to take it off where the new roof is going to be tying in to the old. Anyway - they are warming their backs in the process of their discussion.

Here you see Gerry and David (from afar) on the roof installing the tin that Grant is handing them with the genielift. This is the east side of the house, the large opening is the garage, so they will have to make a new driveway as well.
