FINALLY!!!

Well, well, well today Fred and I checked out all the blogs, enjoyed all the pictures and it inspired me to post on ours, even though there isn't much news here. We have been home now for just over two weeks and are actually still in holiday mode. There is alot of snow here yet and the weather has been a tad cool yet. Not to complain, mind you, we are in good health and eagerly looking forward to spring. We have been doing things together everyday since BBS hasn't really started up yet - there are some inside jobs, but they are waiting for the rock. There is quite a bit of work lined up, but the snow is kindof in the way! We did buy a newer vehicle, another jeep - 2005. We both feel like a million dollars in it. The old jeep was sighing and complaining, so instead of putting more money into it, as it had 350,000 kilometers on it, we decided it was best to go newer. We are very thankful that we have the means to do this. The addition is at a standstill as we are waiting for the completion of the windows - and that's OK, we're not in a hurry. Other than that - we're enjoying each other every day, because once spring arrives, Freek will be very very busy. Oh, and I did plant some flower seeds and they are coming up nicely. For the rest, we are thankful to our Heavenly Father for each day that He gives us and for being with our children and grandchildren. We are indeed very blessed.

Hi Breukelmans! Thanks for the note you left on my blog a while ago! Glad you're home safe and sound, and hope spring brings you some Aussie weather soon! That's what I'm hoping for! :) We are all doing well. Ryland is just getting over a bout of bronchitis. He's doing well. Raymond is busy at work, and in the garden, now that it's warming up a little. He loves it in the yard, and in his shop! I'm keeping busy helping out at school, and looking after our little munchkin. Fun fun. Take care, and may God bless and keep you. xx

Hi Fred and Jane,
Good to hear from you and to hear all is well. Weird isn't it that you guys are hanging out for some warmer weather and we can't wait for the days we don't see too much of the sun and clear skies!!! We are still kept busy-especially with things like watering the garden etc. Gerrit has finished his water tank - now just waiting for the rains DV. All the best, and hopefully Fred will be able to get back to work soon. Regards Gerrit & Nelly
